Just had to put a picture of my latest creation on here. I cut off a pair of Kenna's jeans that were too short for her and sewed some fabric on the bottom for a skirt. Then I made a purse to match! Sean is ecstatic that the 'second child syndrome' as he calls it seems to have failed last week.

mandee, you are funny. i never WAS creative. it is a recent development since getting married and really, having kids. someone in my ward did that with an old pair of jeans and i just thought it was cute. emma put holes in all her school jeans last year before she grew out of them, so i thought it was a good way to use them. as for time, it is something i enjoy. i have a hard time doing it if the house isn't clean first, but sometimes i just ignore the chaos and go for it. it is much harder now that i have spencer!

First of all, you are so clever! Second, I love it that you have a hobby that lets you escape while doing something productive for your family all at the same time!
i'm impressed with all your craftiness. it's too bad i couldn't do something like that with all SEVEN pairs of jeans seth put a hole in last year. i don't think he would appreciate a skirt though.
